The 10.E5.T60-1002 is an electromagnetic compatibility line filter manufactured by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the plant mains and a variable-speed drive or servo amplifier, it blocks high-frequency noise from leaving the cabinet and helps shield incoming conductors from drive-generated interference. This supports reliable fieldbus communication, and its terminals accept 4 mm² copper wire for typical cabinet connections. By reducing conducted noise on shared supply lines, it also helps nearby control equipment operate with fewer interference-related disturbances.
During continuous operation, the filter passes a load current of 8 A, so drives drawing that RMS value will not saturate its inductive elements. The permissible network voltage is 400/480 V AC, and brief excursions up to 528 V AC can be tolerated without dielectric breakdown. That voltage range matches common industrial power systems used with small and mid-power drives. It is designed for a three-line supply, and the 3-phase rating means the conductors share a common attenuation path tuned for 50/60 Hz mains frequency. With a leakage current of 15 mA, the filter requires a ground connection that helps prevent nuisance tripping of sensitive residual-current devices while still discharging internal capacitors after power is removed.
