Product Description:
The 10.E4.T60-0001 is an HF electromagnetic interference filter from KEB and belongs to the Combiline EMC Filters series. It is installed between a variable-speed drive and the mains to attenuate high-frequency noise that could disrupt nearby control electronics or violate emission standards in automated plants. By presenting a controlled impedance path for common-mode and differential-mode currents, the device keeps conducted disturbances within regulated limits while allowing the drive to operate on its full current rating without external derating.
This filter is designed for a single-phase supply; the input side is wired for single-phase operation, and it tolerates up to 1 x 240 V AC (+10%) so it can be used on standard North American or European distribution networks. The maximum continuous load is 30 A, which is the largest drive current that can pass without excessive temperature rise. Internally dissipated heat is limited to 17.6 W, and this figure helps size control cabinet ventilation. When tested for radio-frequency interference, it meets the Class B limit of EN 55011/B, allowing end equipment to satisfy residential as well as industrial EMC requirements. Both the drive and line sides accept 2 x AWG 10 conductors, and a 110 mm lead set is already fitted to simplify wiring. The design remains effective with shielded motor cables up to 30 m in length, maintaining attenuation over common installation distances. An under-mount bracket allows the filter to be fastened beneath a drive stack, while M4 threads provide a standardized screw size for bonding.
The aluminum housing measures 264 mm long, 90 mm wide, and 50 mm high, so it fits behind shallow panels without protruding into airflow channels. With a mass of 0.9 kg, it can be supported by light-gauge sheet metal without additional framing. The AWG 10 terminals emerge on opposite ends, keeping input and output conductors separated to reduce crosstalk. Lead insulation is rated for the full supply voltage, and the 30 m shielded-cable allowance removes the need for a secondary filter near the motor. Under-mount orientation also places the enclosure in direct contact with the panel, giving a short thermal path from the 17.6 W loss source to the cabinet wall.
