Product Description:
The 07.E4.T60-0061 electromagnetic compatibility filter is produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. As a discrete single-phase line filter, it is installed between an inverter and the mains to attenuate high-frequency noise generated by switching devices, helping machinery meet conducted emission limits in industrial automation systems. The component targets compact variable-frequency drive panels where submounting under the drive saves space and simplifies wiring. Its HF topology blocks differential and common-mode interference so that sensitive sensors, PLC inputs, or neighboring drives are not affected by fast-edge voltage transients.
It is classified as an HF Filter, meaning its internal inductors and capacitors are tuned to suppress noise above the audible spectrum without adding noticeable impedance at line frequency. The device is designed for systems that use 1 input phase and maintains steady operation at line voltages up to 1 x 240 V (+10%). Within this operating range, the filter can pass a continuous load of 12 A while dissipating only 5 W of heat, which affects enclosure ventilation requirements. The D-type metal housing provides an electrostatic shield, and the submounted configuration bolts directly to the underside of a KEB drive so that the filter shares a common grounding plane. Internal connections to the power section are achieved through dual AWG-10 line terminals, allowing low-resistance feed-through to the inverter.
Output conductors toward the inverter are prewired as 2 x AWG 14 leads, each cut to a standardized length of 110 mm for consistent creepage and strain-relief routing. Mechanical packaging follows the series' D housing footprint, keeping overall mass to just 0.9 kg so that the unit can be suspended from the drive chassis without additional brackets. The submounted layout also positions the 4 mm² screw terminals at the panel edge, shortening the protective earth path and supporting compliance across the full temperature range.
