The 00.90.013-0042 electromagnetic compatibility filter is produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. This component is installed between a drive inverter and the plant mains to attenuate conducted emissions and absorb differential-mode noise on power lines in industrial automation. It helps motor cables and control wiring comply with EMC limits while allowing high-frequency switching drives to operate without causing interference.
Rated for continuous power dissipation of 80 W, the filter releases heat generated by its internal resistive and inductive network during normal drive operation. A rectangular profile of 40 × 20 mm simplifies placement beside contactors and breakers on a backplate. The DC link can be charged up to 800 Vdc, matching the intermediate circuit of 400 V-class inverters that use active front ends. The assembly withstands an insulation test voltage of 4000 V DC between the terminals and housing. Its enclosure carries an IP23 rating, providing protection against finger contact and water falling at an angle of up to 60 degrees from vertical.
