The 07.10.370-2FFU is an electromagnetic clutch-brake unit manufactured by KEB and supplied under the Combibox Clutch Brakes series. By energizing dedicated coils, the device transmits or interrupts torque between a driving shaft and a driven shaft and can hold the output stationary, making it suitable for indexing tables, conveyors, and other automated equipment that require controlled engagement and rapid stopping. Its normally disengaged design prevents residual drag when the coil is de-energized, protecting drive motors from unnecessary load.
During operation, the clutch section accepts 20 W of power at the coil, while the brake section draws 16 W, both from a 24 V DC supply. Once magnetized, the friction surfaces generate a combined torque of 15 Nm, enabling repeatable load transfer up to a maximum speed of 3000 rpm. Clearance is set at a rated air gap of 0.3 mm and, after wear, can be restored by readjusting the gap to 0.6 mm. The armature couples to a rotor with an inertia of 2.98 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², limiting acceleration lag. The foot-mounted housing positions the shafts in a shaft-in/shaft-out arrangement that simplifies inline installation on driven lines.

A center height of 71 mm aligns the input shaft with standard gearboxes, while the cast housing extends 125 mm in length and reaches an overall height of 94 mm.
