By integrating a single-disc clutch with a spring-applied brake inside one housing, the device switches between torque transmission and positive stopping on the same shaft. This combined function suits indexing tables, packaging machinery, and material-handling drives that require fast engagement and stopping cycles without changing belts or gears. The shared housing also keeps the clutch and brake elements aligned along one rotational axis, helping the assembly fit into compact drive systems.
During operation, the clutch section consumes 15 W, while the brake section consumes 12 W.
