By adjusting motor parameters electronically, it eliminates mechanical throttling devices and improves process efficiency in conveyors, pumps, and small machining equipment.
The inverter accepts a supply of 3-phase 400 V AC, routing it through a dedicated heat sink so semiconductor junctions stay within thermal limits during constant operation. Internally, the control section uses a standard PNP interface, enabling direct start-stop and speed commands from typical PLC digital outputs. The default carrier is set at 8 kHz, balancing audible noise against switching loss. At the output stage, the device provides a continuously adjustable frequency range of 0–400 Hz and can deliver up to 4 A of rated current, which corresponds to 1.6 kVA of apparent power for the connected motor. Output voltage is synthesized on three phases and can vary from zero up to the rated mains potential, allowing full motor control.
