The B6 COMBIVERT Frequency Inverters series is a KEB drive family designed specifically for the control and regulation of asynchronous motors in machine and system installations.
The series is offered in compact housing sizes A and B for 230 V and 400 V supply classes, with motor power coverage ranging from smaller fractional-kilowatt applications up to 4 kW. The platform uses PWM inverter operation with adjustable switching frequencies and provides output frequencies up to 400 Hz for variable-speed motor control. Depending on the model, the series can be equipped with standard or CAN-based control boards, internal filtering, braking-transistor options, flat-rear cooling variants, and analog or digital control interfaces for integration into different automation setups. The units are built for control-cabinet installation with IP20 protection, EMC-oriented wiring practices, shielded motor connections, and support for braking resistor connection on applicable versions.
