This AC drive is engineered for variable-speed control of compressors, condensers, and evaporator fans in supermarket cases, cold rooms, and process chillers. By matching motor speed to instantaneous load, it cuts energy draw, soft-starts equipment, and stabilizes suction pressure. The device belongs to the VLT Refrigeration Drive product group and is delivered on a Type 1 backplate for mounting inside standard electrical enclosures.
Rated for a mains supply of 380 – 480 VAC, the drive accepts a three-phase input and delivers up to 45 kW of continuous output power, which is equivalent to 60 HP at the motor shaft. The backplate housing carries a protection level of IP21 / Type 1 backplate, allowing installation in dry indoor panels without extra gasketing. Standard cable entries are provided under Adaptation A to simplify wiring. A graphical local control panel shows parameters, status information, and real-time values without external tools. Conducted noise is further suppressed by the integrated Class A1/B RFI filter, keeping the installation within typical commercial limits. Long-term reliability in humid plant rooms is supported by the coated PCB finish. No B-option, C-option, C0-option, C1-option, D-option, or mains option is fitted.
