Product Description:
The FC-280 is a Midi drive designed by Danfoss Engineering to improve industrial automation control processes. The drive has an extremely compact housing design that supports easy installation of the product into the servo system, it is also flexible enough to produce optimum results when used with Induction and PM motors with a power output up to 22 kilowatts. The relatively high degree of flexibility of this inverter makes it particularly suited for most industrial applications. The compact housing design of the FC-280 also makes wiring processes easy to carry out, connection interfaces are integrated into the housing of the drive according to IP20. There is an RFI filter present in the drive housing, the RFI plays an important role in reducing radio disturbance from motor cables connected to the drive. Also, interference suppression carried out by the RFI is according to the EU quality standards.
The FC-280 Midi Drive features a printed Circuit Board (PCB) which is cost effective, compact and provides a high overall performance. The use of the PCB is another way this drive reduces electronic noise during operation. There is an integrated DC choke found inside the drives, the choke filters out high frequency noise and ripple voltage in power supply circuits. The Midi drive is also equipped with an integrated brake chopper.
There is a VLT module present at the back of the FC-280 Midi drive, this module saves important configuration information. Also, behind this Midi drive are two channel safe torque off. Interaction with this drive is very convenient as it can be carried out through its flexible user interface integrated into its front panel. The user interface supports PROFIBUS, CAN, PROFINET or Ethernet/IP communication.
