The 134X3056 frequency converter is part of the VLT Midi Drive FC 280, designed as a more sophisticated replacement for the VLT 2800 drive series. The converter also has a small, compact enclosure that saves space and allows for side-by-side mounting of several units together. The unit is tested before it is shipped for delivery, and it carries several international approval markings like CE, UL and EAC. The operation of this product depends on configuration parameters that can be determined on a PC unit connected to the drive through the USB communication interface. The configuration information is stored in the memory module of the product. Unlike the earlier product design, the control terminals on this product are pluggable. The average power side of this product is about 1.5 kilowatts, it is also a single-phase device with a voltage supply of between 200 to about 240 volts.

The 134X3056 frequency converter is without a brake chopper or display unit; it is, however, equipped with a printed circuit board with a long service life. It is possible to install this product in both a vertical and horizontal position; also, customers are not required to provide the product with additional ventilation on its lateral side. There is an air blower installed inside the housing of this product. For effective cooling, the ambient air coming in contact with the converter should be free of dust and corrosive liquids.

The power connection of the 134X3056 frequency converter should only feature copper wires that comply with both local and international standards. The integration of these wires should be carried out by qualified personnel. The Safe Torque off Function (STO) is part of the safety control system of this product; it is designed to prevent the unexpected rotation of the connected motor.
