Product Description:
The 134X3056 is an AC variable-frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 280 Midi Drives series. It regulates induction-motor speed in compact machines, process skids, and other industrial automation systems. The drive provides a dedicated power stage for controlled acceleration, deceleration, speed, and torque. It can receive commands from a PLC or operate with a stand-alone controller, depending on the machine configuration and control requirements.
This model accepts a single-phase 200–240 VAC supply and provides a continuous motor output of 1.5 kW, corresponding to 2.0 HP. Its chassis-mount enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, permitting installation inside a ventilated control cabinet while protecting users from accidental contact with live components. Communication is handled by a standard control card with Modbus, allowing parameter access and command exchange through an RS-485 connection. The drive has no brake chopper, so stopping energy must be managed through the deceleration profile or suitable external braking equipment. A front-panel display is not included, but operating data and diagnostics can be accessed through compatible software or an optional plug-in keypad. This arrangement supports remote control where local visualization is unnecessary.
The electromagnetic filter carries an EMC Category C1 at 200 V and C2 at 400 V rating, helping reduce conducted electrical noise on connected supply lines. This filtering supports use in light-industrial environments where interference control is required for nearby electrical equipment. The drive also uses a coated printed circuit board, with conformal lacquer covering critical traces and components. The coating improves resistance to moisture and airborne contaminants that could otherwise cause corrosion or electrical leakage under humid operating conditions. Adaptation fields A and B are not enabled, and mains-side additive options are also disabled. The standard language package supports routine configuration through the available remote interface without requiring an integrated display.
