Product Description:

The 134X3053 is a frequency converter belonging to the FC 280 midi drive series. It is built by Danfoss Automation to serve as a replacement for the VLT 2800 product series, which has been in the market for more than 20 years. This converter is offers operators full backwards compatibility, it is also more flexible, communicative, and easy to use than the original converter series. The product has a smaller size that makes its installation into tight spaces possible. Multiple units of this product can be installed side-by-side. There is no control panel present on this product; however, configuration of the unit can still be carried out on a drive controller that is connected to the drive through a USB port. The enclosure of this product provides protection according to the IP20 protection category; it is designed for vertical installation inside a control cabinet with reliable protection.

Unlike the earlier version of this product, the 134X3053 is equipped with a built-in DC choke which helps to reduce the total harmonic distortion in the product by up to 48 per cent according to EN 61000-3-2. The parameter setup used in the VLT 2800 converter series can be converted to serve this product through the use of the automated conversion function and programming software tool installed inside the converter.

The maximum input voltage suited for the operation of this product is about 280 volts, and the ambient temperature can also be as high as 45 degrees Celsius. The 134X3053 is built as a maintenance-free product; however, this is only guaranteed when the product is used according to the instructions in the documentation delivered with the product. High vibration levels should be avoided during the operation of this product.
