Product Description:
The 134U3007 AC variable-frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 280 Midi Drives series. Designed for cabinet mounting, the unit regulates the speed of small three-phase induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, fans, and light process equipment. It adjusts motor speed to match operating demand, which can reduce energy consumption and unnecessary mechanical wear. Its compact format also supports installation in control panels where mounting space and cable-routing clearance are limited.
The drive delivers a continuous motor output of 0.55 kW from a three-phase 380–480 VAC supply, allowing direct connection to common industrial power systems within that voltage range. An IP20 chassis enclosure helps prevent accidental finger contact with hazardous internal components when the unit is properly installed behind a panel door. Conducted electromagnetic noise is reduced by an integrated EMC Category C3 (200/400 V) filter, helping protect nearby control and measurement equipment from electrical interference. Rapid motor deceleration is supported by an internal brake chopper, which directs regenerated energy to a compatible external braking resistor. Parameter access is provided through the control card, while the lack of a local display keeps the front of the unit compact. The standard configuration does not require specialized mains accessories for its intended supply range.
The electrical output corresponds to 0.75 HP, making the drive suitable for fractional-horsepower motors commonly installed on auxiliary machine axes and compact process equipment. A coated printed circuit board protects conductive traces and electronic components from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants inside industrial control panels. Network communication is provided by a standard control card with Modbus, allowing compatible PLCs and supervisory controls to exchange operating commands, reference values, and status information without an additional communication gateway. A standard language pack supports multilingual parameter text in compatible configuration tools. The drive is supplied without a local display, so parameter changes and operating data are accessed through the available control and communication interfaces. Its cabinet-oriented format allows protective devices, braking components, and motor wiring to be arranged elsewhere in the panel according to the machine’s electrical design.
