The Danfoss VLT Micro Drive FC 51 with part no FC-051P18KT4E20H3BXCXXXSXXX 132F0060 is a small but efficient drive system that is suitable for small as well as medium-scale industrial applications.
It has a non–adjustable rated power of 18.5 kW and uses a 3–phase input voltage of 380 V, 50/60 Hz which gives a 3–phase output voltage that is variable from 0 to 380 V with a maximum frequency of 400 Hz. The drive type of the unit is also adjustable to either scalar or vector control depending on the need of the application in terms of speed and torque. The VLT Micro Drive FC51 has a high overload capability and can sustain 150% of the rated output for one minute thus making it ideal for heavy-duty loads and quick transients. The IP 20-rated enclosure of the drive protects from objects that are larger than 12mm and is not fit for use in environments prone to water exposure. The drive also incorporates an integrated DC choke for filtering to minimize harmonic contents and increase system efficiency. This drive has an output current of 35 A and is highly efficient for it has an efficiency rating of up to 98%. Such enclosure can function in the temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, thus suitable for different conditions.
