Product Description:
132F0008 is a frequency converter (aka adjustable frequency drive or AC drive). The drive uses advanced algorithms to convert the fixed input frequencies to variable output frequencies. Similarly, it can convert the fixed-amplitude input voltage to variable-amplitude output voltages. This output variation is the main mechanism used for motor control. The motor responds to changes in its input frequency by changing its speed. Input voltage for the 132F0008 drive is 200 to 240 Volts and the typical output is 0.25 kilowatts. If required, operators can order internal brake choppers for FC-51 drive units. Local control panels are also available for order. However, this drive is without a control panel. Therefore, operators can order the MCT-10 software developed by Danfoss for drive control, install it on a PC, and connect the PC to the drive over a serial link, and finally configure the drive.
This IP20 rated drive can be mounted adjacent to other IP20 units. However, a minimum spacing of 100 millimeters must be provided on the top and bottom for air circulation. Weight of the 132F0008 drive is 1.1 kilograms. Its dimensions are 205 x 70 x 148 millimeters. This drive has a frame size of M1 and a mounting kit is available for DIN rail installation. It is preferable to use armored motor cables to connect the drive to a motor. Screen used on armored cables should be metal and should provide at least 80% coverage. Danfoss recommends minimizing motor cable lengths to reduce leakage currents and noise. The earth cable must be mounted before the cables for mains connection are mounted. The drive is pre-loaded with the latest control software version.
