Product Description:
The 132F0002 is a compact AC inverter produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 51 Micro Drives series. It is intended to control the speed of small induction motors in conveyors, pumps, and ventilators where installation space is limited and simple integration is required. By converting fixed mains power into a variable-frequency output, the unit allows motor speed to follow changing process demand. This control method can reduce unnecessary energy consumption when an application does not require the motor to operate continuously at full speed.
The drive accepts a supply of 200–240 VAC and is wired for single-phase input, allowing installation on widely available low-voltage utility circuits. Its continuous mechanical output is rated at 0.37 kW, which corresponds to 0.50 HP. The IP20 chassis enclosure protects the electronics against accidental finger contact but requires installation inside a suitable cabinet for protection from dust and moisture. Upstream fuses and conductors should be selected for the connected supply and expected motor load. Adequate cabinet clearance and ventilation are also necessary to remove heat generated during normal operation.
Conducted emissions are limited by an integrated RFI Class A1/B filter, allowing the inverter to operate on compatible commercial and light-industrial electrical networks without separate suppression hardware. The control board has a protective coating that guards copper traces against humidity and airborne contaminants. The enclosure uses standard cable entries, simplifying cable-gland selection and conductor routing within the cabinet. The drive has no brake chopper, so regenerative energy must be managed externally if the application requires rapid deceleration. It also omits a local control panel, which means operating commands and parameter adjustments require a compatible external interface. No special mains option is included with this configuration.
