The 134H4616 is a decentralized variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. Mounted directly on or near an induction motor, it converts fixed-frequency plant power into a modulated output so conveyors, pumps, or fans can run at the speed requested by a control system. This arrangement eliminates long motor cable runs and places the sealed electronics at the work site, reducing cabinet space while retaining full speed and torque control in industrial automation.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 380-480 VAC, allowing installation on common low-voltage networks without transformers. Its mechanical output capability is rated at 4.0 HP, which corresponds to an electrical rating of 3.0 kW and makes the unit suitable for medium-frame IEC or NEMA motors on material-handling lines. The enclosure carries an IP66/NEMA 4X rating that protects against dust and high-pressure water, supporting use in washdown areas at food or chemical plants.
