Product Description:
The 134H3325 decentralized variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss as a member of the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. It mounts directly on or near the motor so that speed regulation, start and stop sequences, and protective functions are handled at the machine instead of inside a remote cabinet. By placing the controller close to the load, cable runs are shortened and electromagnetic emissions from long motor leads are reduced in conveyor, pump, and general automation lines. This layout is useful on distributed machinery where cabinet space is limited and each drive serves a single nearby motor.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 380-480 VAC three-phase, allowing direct connection to typical industrial grids without a transformer. Its continuous mechanical output is rated at 0.37 kW, which equals 0.5 HP for small auxiliary equipment. The unit has a Standard White IP66/NEMA4X enclosure that seals the electronics against high-pressure washdown and corrosive environments. The sealed housing supports installation near process equipment where moisture, dust, and routine cleaning are common. To limit conducted and radiated interference, the drive integrates an RFI Class A1/C2 filter, eliminating the need for an external line filter in most installations.
A control terminal provides a 24 VDC backup input so parameter memory and field I/O stay powered during brief mains drops. The A-slot is delivered with no fieldbus option, so the drive is intended for standalone operation rather than networked fieldbus control. The front cover has no display connector, so setup is done with an external programming cable. This arrangement keeps the control package focused on basic local I/O and external programming access. The mechanical package is supplied with no brake, so applications that require holding torque during power-off must rely on the driven load or an external braking device.
