Product Description:
The 134G6547 decentralized drive is manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. It is supplied as a complete small standalone unit that can be mounted directly on a wall or close to the motor, so a control cabinet is not required for local installation. This arrangement supports decentralized machine layouts and keeps the drive near the equipment it controls. It operates as a frequency converter for speed control and soft starting of three-phase induction motors used in handling, pumping, and material-processing equipment.
The drive delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.37 kW, equivalent to 0.5 HP, making it suited to compact fractional-horsepower applications. It accepts a three-phase supply of 380-480 VAC, and its internal rectifier and inverter convert that input into a controlled motor output. The enclosure has an IP66/NEMA 4X rating, which helps protect the electronics during washdown or outdoor operation. Communication is handled over Profibus DP, allowing a PLC to exchange setpoints and diagnostic data with the unit. There is no brake circuit in the factory configuration, and no brackets, line plug, motor plug, or sensor plugs are installed. A dedicated display connector is included for local parameter adjustment.
Electromagnetic compliance is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1/C2 filter that reduces conducted noise on the supply lines. Backup control power can be provided through the 24 VDC backup input, so fieldbus communication and parameter retention can remain available when the main supply is isolated. Precision speed feedback is possible because the B option adds the C encoder option for incremental encoder wiring through the drive. The unit uses Metric threads, and the housing is finished in standard black. No switch option or fieldbus plug is included, so installation is limited to the required control and power connections.
