Product Description:

The Danfoss 134F5987 is a decentralized drive from the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. It is intended to be used in dispersed motor control applications where reducing space and being strong are very important. The drive has a power rating of 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) and runs on a three-phase mains voltage of 380–480 VAC. It has an IP66/NEMA 4X housing, so it may be used in severe or outdoor settings.

It has a handy display connection for local parameterization and diagnostics, and all of the mounting holes are metric, making installation easy and consistent. There are a number of standard tests and steps that are suggested for fixing problems and keeping things running smoothly. If the drive or motor attached to it is acting strangely, check for overheating and mechanical overload, which are common sources of problems and warnings. The drive will sound an alert or warning if the thermistor is unplugged or the motor becomes too hot, based on the values for parameter 1-90. When utilizing terminals 53 or 54 for the thermistor input, make sure that the thermistor is connected appropriately between terminal 53 or 54 and terminal 50 (the +10V supply) and that the terminal switch is set to voltage input.

The 134F5987 frequency converter has a local control panel (LCP) that allows for the operation and configuration of it in a variety of ways. This full interface makes it easy for users to set up and control the frequency converter. The LCP may be removed and put up to 3 meters (10 feet) away from the converter. This makes it easy to attach on the front panel provided you have the right installation kit.
