Product Description:
The 134F2135 is a decentralized variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. It mounts directly on or near a motor, reducing the amount of drive equipment required inside a central control cabinet. The drive modulates the electrical supply frequency to regulate motor speed in conveyors, mixers, and other distributed industrial equipment. Its decentralized arrangement also shortens the distance between the drive and motor, allowing power and control connections to remain close to the machinery.
The drive accepts a three-phase mains supply of 380–480 VAC and provides a maximum output of 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2 HP of mechanical power. The installed communication option supports EtherNet/IP for exchanging commands, operating data, and status information with compatible control systems. The drive uses a standard white IP66/NEMA 4X housing that resists dust, water jets, and washdown conditions. It is supplied as a complete small standalone package and includes a display connector for local access to operating parameters and diagnostic information. The configuration does not include an integrated brake, mains plug, motor plug, fieldbus plug, or sensor plugs, so the required external connections must be selected for the installation. Brackets are also omitted, allowing the enclosure to be attached to a custom plate or directly to a suitable machine frame.
An internal RFI Class A1/C2 filter attenuates conducted electrical emissions and helps the installation satisfy applicable electromagnetic compatibility requirements. Cable entries use metric threads, allowing compatible glands to secure incoming power, motor, communication, and control cables. A motor-side service switch provides local electrical isolation during inspection or maintenance while the upstream distribution system remains available to other equipment. The switch location keeps the disconnecting point close to the connected motor, which supports clear isolation procedures for distributed machinery. The lack of preinstalled plugs allows cable routing and connector selection to be adapted to the equipment layout without altering the sealed drive enclosure.
