The 132H7009 decentralized drive is produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. It is supplied in a complete large stand-alone hardware configuration, so the inverter, filters, and terminations are contained in one housing that bolts directly to plant equipment. This arrangement places the power electronics close to the machine and reduces the need for a separate enclosure at the installation point. The unit is supplied without mounting brackets, without a motor-side brake, and without a switch option integrated into the cover. The B option slot is empty.

The unit accepts three-phase input in the 380–480 VAC range and converts it to a regulated output that delivers up to 3.0 kW of mechanical power, which corresponds to 4.0 HP when it is connected to an induction motor. It uses a standard black IP66/NEMA 4X enclosure, which supports high-pressure washdown duty and outdoor mounting without an added protective box. Conducted emission control is handled by an integrated RFI Class A1/C2 filter, so the drive can be used on public low-voltage networks without extra line chokes. The installation kit does not include a line plug, motor plug, sensor plugs, or a fieldbus plug, and hard-wired leads pass through dedicated cable entries instead of detachable connectors.

Control integration is provided through the Profinet option in the A slot, giving deterministic Ethernet communication directly at the drive. To maintain logic power during a supply interruption, the D slot accepts a 24 VDC backup input, allowing controlled stops and retention of field data. The unit also includes a display connector for a detachable keypad, so parameters can be accessed without opening the housing. Mechanical interfaces use metric threads, allowing standard cable glands and bonded fittings to be installed without adapters.
