By placing speed regulation at the point of use, it simplifies wiring and helps distribute control across conveyors, pumps, and agitators in automated plants exposed to moisture, dust, or cleaning chemicals.
The drive operates from a three-phase supply of 380–480 V AC, letting it use standard industrial mains without an isolation transformer. Its continuous mechanical output is rated at 4.0 HP, which corresponds to a shaft power limit of 3.0 kW for the connected motor. To minimize conducted and radiated noise on the feeder circuit, the unit carries an internal filter that meets RFI Class A1/C2 emission limits.
