The 131Z5395 is a decentral drive produced by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series in the VLT Decentral Drive FCD product group. It is intended to mount directly on or near a motor so speed and torque can be regulated without a separate control cabinet in automated conveyor and material-handling cells. The unit is a complete small stand-alone drive, and the enclosure is supplied in standard black with a rating that blocks dust and high-pressure water, making it suitable for exposed industrial zones. This layout supports distributed drive placement along a machine frame instead of concentrating all control hardware in one enclosure.

The drive delivers 0.55 kW of mechanical output, which corresponds to 0.75 HP, and it accepts three-phase mains between 380-480 VAC. That input is filtered through an internal RFI Class A1/C2 network so conducted emissions remain within typical factory limits. Environmental protection is provided by the IP66/NEMA4X housing, allowing washdown cleaning without compromising internal circuits. No brackets are included, so mounting hardware must be selected separately, and the metric thread pattern simplifies attachment to European or ISO adapters. A mains plug, motor plug, sensor plugs, and a switch option are not supplied, so fixed conduit or hard-wired terminations must be used. The D option slot is empty, and the A and B option positions have no accessories.

Operational interaction is possible because the front panel contains a display connector. The assembly ships with no brake, so mechanical holding must be provided by the driven machine when power is removed. Communication wiring is simplified by the lack of a fieldbus option and the absence of a fieldbus plug, so the unit runs as a stand-alone controller. Cable entries use metric threads, and there are no sensor plugs. Two positions are reserved for future options.
