The 131X7666 decentralized drive is produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. Mounted directly on the machine frame, it converts incoming AC power into a controlled output that regulates motor speed and torque. It is intended for decentralized installations where the drive is placed near conveyors or process equipment instead of in a remote cabinet. Keeping the power electronics close to the motor can simplify machine layouts and shorten output cable runs.

Rated for a three-phase supply of 380-480 VAC, the unit operates on a common industrial voltage class without separate step-down hardware. Its mechanical output is limited to 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a 1.0 HP nameplate and suits conveyors, mixers, and small pumps. The cast housing has an IP66/NEMA4X seal that blocks dust ingress and withstands washdown jets in food or chemical areas. Conducted emissions are reduced by the integrated RFI Class A1/C2 filter so the installation can meet EMC limits on long feeder cables. Metric threads are used on all gland plates, and the enclosure is finished in black to match other VLT field components.

Option slots and terminations are fixed on this build. Communication is provided through the A-slot Profibus DP interface. The mechanical section has no brake, so stopping torque must come from the drive’s dynamic functions or the load itself. A service port is available through the housing’s display connector for a clip-on keypad during local access. Line wiring is hard-wired because there is no mains plug, and the motor, sensor, switch, and fieldbus plugs are also omitted while the B-option, D-option, and bracket positions remain empty. The unit is configured as a VLT Decentral Drive FCD in a complete small stand-alone form, and fields marked Reserved and Reserved for SW remain unused.
