Product Description:
The 131X6814 is a decentralized variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. Positioned directly on the machine rather than in a control cabinet, it regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors in conveyor, mixer, and pump applications. As a member of the VLT Decentral Drive FCD product group, it places power electronics near the load, shortening motor cable runs and simplifying system wiring in distributed industrial automation layouts.
The drive supplies 2.2 kW of continuous output, equivalent to 3.0 HP, when fed from a three-phase supply in the 380-480 VAC range. Its standard black enclosure is certified at IP66/NEMA4X, allowing washdown installation, and an internal RFI Class A1/C2 filter reduces conducted emissions. Because there is no mains plug, motor plug, or sensor plugs, all terminations are hardwired through cable glands. The B option is listed as no B option, the D slot is listed as no option, and the switch option is absent, so external disconnects must be provided elsewhere. Threaded entries for an installation box are omitted.
The optional feature set is intentionally minimal. The A slot is populated with no fieldbus option, and the corresponding fieldbus plug is therefore omitted, leaving control to hardwired I/O or Ethernet gateways mounted elsewhere. Mechanical stopping aid is not provided because the unit is delivered with no brake. Operator interaction at the drive is limited because the front face has no display connector, so parameter access is handled through remote tools. For mounting accessories, the package includes no brackets, so mounting uses the molded rear lugs. The remaining lines marked Reserved and Reserved for SW are placeholders for future use, so the unit focuses on core speed-control functions without additional modules.
