The 131X6020 is a decentralized variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FCD 302 Decentral Drives series. Designed to mount directly on or near the motor, the unit converts fixed-frequency power into a variable output that adjusts motor speed for conveyors, pumps, or material-handling stations in industrial automation. The housing minimizes panel space and simplifies wiring in distributed control architectures.

It accepts a three-phase input of 380–480 VAC and can deliver up to 1.5 kW, equivalent to 2 HP at the motor shaft. The standard black enclosure carries an ingress rating of IP66/NEMA 4X, so the internal electronics remain protected from washdown and dust. Communication is provided through the A-option card, which supports Profibus DP and allows the drive to operate as a network node without an external gateway. Because the unit lacks a display connector, parameter changes must be made through the fieldbus or remote software. Field-level accessories such as a fieldbus plug, power plug, motor plug, and sensor plug are not included. The B-option position is unassigned, allowing compatible connectors to be selected for the installation.

The D option provides a 24 VDC backup input that maintains power to the control circuitry during interruptions to the main supply. Electromagnetic interference is reduced by the integrated RFI Class A1/C2 filter. The drive is supplied without an internal brake, and mechanical mounting brackets are not included because the unit is intended for direct machine installation. A dedicated switch option is not provided, and the housing does not have threads for an installation box. The drive belongs to the VLT Decentral Drive FCD product group and carries the series identifier 302. Its decentralized design allows the power electronics to be positioned close to the controlled motor, reducing the amount of motor cabling required between a central panel and distributed equipment.
