The 134F3021 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors, allowing conveyors, pumps, and ventilation equipment to match changing process demands while reducing mechanical stress. Closed-loop control enables the drive to correct motor performance in response to feedback from the connected system. The chassis format is suitable for installation in IEC control cabinets and connects directly to the plant power supply without requiring additional transformers.
The unit accepts a 380–480 VAC three-phase supply and can deliver up to 22 kW, which corresponds to 30 HP, under rated ambient conditions. Its IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a protective control cabinet. An integrated RFI Class A2 filter limits high-frequency electrical noise conducted back to the mains supply. The coated printed circuit board protects conductive traces and electronic components against moisture and airborne contaminants. Standard cable entries accommodate commonly used metric cable glands and support orderly routing inside the enclosure. Adaptation B is not applied, so the standard mechanical footprint remains unchanged. The unit does not include a B option, leaving that expansion position unpopulated. Parameter text is available through the standard language pack for access to operating menus and configuration settings.
The drive includes a control card with PROFINET for real-time fieldbus communication with compatible automation controllers. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerative energy during rapid motor deceleration by directing it to an appropriate braking resistor. The power stage supports high-overload duty for applications that require demanding acceleration profiles or short periods of elevated torque. A load-sharing connection allows multiple inverters to use a common DC bus, enabling regenerated energy from one axis to be used by another connected drive. The unit is supplied without a display or blind cover, making remote operation through the control network or external equipment the primary method of access. Its reduced front-panel arrangement also limits the space required at the face of the installed drive.
