The 134F3012 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series and the wider VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. It converts constant-frequency three-phase power into a regulated output that allows controllers to vary motor speed, torque, and process throughput. Used with conveyors, pumps, and general material-handling equipment, the drive supports energy-efficient motor control in industrial automation applications.

The unit connects to three-phase mains between 380–480 VAC and can supply up to 1.5 kW of continuous mechanical power, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP, for standard IEC induction motors. Its output stage is rated for high-overload duty, allowing temporary current surges during acceleration without derating. The IP20 chassis protection requires the inverter to be installed inside a switch cabinet that prevents accidental contact with internal components. An internal brake chopper absorbs regenerated energy during rapid load deceleration. Power conductors are routed through the standard cable entries included with Adaptation A. The unit does not have a blind cover, leaving the terminal area accessible when the cabinet is open for service.

A factory-installed control card with PROFINET provides real-time speed commands over Ethernet, while a coated PCB protects the electronics from moisture and conductive dust. Conducted emissions are limited by the embedded RFI Class A2 filter. The mains option includes load sharing, enabling several inverters to exchange energy through a common DC bus. Adaptation B does not include any additional adaptation, and the optional B hardware slot is unused. The front panel is supplied without a display, so the drive is configured through the fieldbus or an external keypad. A standard language pack provides multilingual parameter menus after power-up, allowing the operating interface to present settings in supported languages without requiring a separate display module.
