The 134F3011 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. Designed for three-phase induction motors, the unit modulates output frequency so conveyor, fan, or pump speed matches real-time process demands while minimizing mechanical stress. Within an automation cell, it serves as the final power element, translating low-level control commands into regulated motor voltage and current suitable for factory power systems.
The drive has a continuous power capacity of 1.1 kW, providing sufficient output for typical four-pole IEC motors used in small machinery. The rectifier and inverter accept a 380–480 VAC three-phase input, so no isolation transformer is required on standard industrial feeders. A built-in brake chopper connects to an external resistor, allowing controlled deceleration without causing an overvoltage trip. High-overload operation permits 150% current for short periods, supporting motor acceleration under heavy inertia. Control integration is handled by the control card with PROFINET, which supplies cyclic setpoints and receives status data over an Ethernet-based fieldbus. Radiated interference is attenuated by the internal RFI Class A2 filter, helping installed systems meet applicable electromagnetic compatibility requirements. A protective coating on the power boards guards against condensation and dust. The enclosure provides IP20 protection for panel-mounted installations and prevents accidental contact with hazardous internal components.
Adaptation A provides standard cable entries, allowing line and motor conductors to be terminated with common metric cable glands. The mains section supports load sharing, enabling several FC 360 drives to distribute power when connected to a shared bus. The housing is supplied without a display, so parameter access is available through the programming port or remote software. This arrangement allows operating commands, status information, and configuration data to be handled through the connected control system without requiring a local interface.
