Product Description:
The 134F3010 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. Installed between the mains supply and an induction motor, the unit adjusts output frequency and voltage to control motor speed and torque. This control allows automated machinery to accelerate, decelerate, or maintain speed in response to commands from a PLC. Regulated acceleration and deceleration can reduce mechanical stress on connected equipment, while variable-speed operation can lower energy consumption when the application does not require full motor output.
Its motor output is rated at 0.75 kW, which corresponds to approximately 1.0 HP. The drive accepts a three-phase supply from 380 to 480 VAC, making it suitable for common industrial power systems. Its IP20 chassis enclosure requires installation inside a control cabinet because it does not provide protection against water. Standard cable entries associated with Adaptation A provide access for field wiring. An internal RFI Class A2 filter reduces conducted electrical interference returning toward the supply network and upstream equipment. The load-sharing mains option allows compatible inverters to exchange DC-bus energy during regenerative operation instead of handling each regenerative event independently.
An integrated brake chopper directs excess energy from the motor to an external braking resistor during rapid deceleration. A factory-installed control card with PROFINET provides real-time cyclic communication with compatible process and automation networks without requiring an additional gateway. The power section has a high-overload rating, allowing brief current increases above the nominal level during demanding acceleration or load changes. A coated printed circuit board protects sensitive electronic traces from airborne moisture and dust that may enter the cabinet. The drive is supplied without a local display, so setup, monitoring, and parameter changes are performed through compatible remote tools or network controls. Its open B-option slot leaves space available for a compatible option card if the application requires additional functionality.
