Product Description:
The 134F3008 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. As an inverter, it modulates three-phase mains power to regulate induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and similar plant equipment, giving automation systems finer throughput and energy control without mechanical throttling. The drive has no display, so setup is performed through the fieldbus or an external keypad while the front profile remains compact.
The unit delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.37 kW, which corresponds to 0.50 HP at the motor shaft. It connects to factory supplies in the 380–480 VAC three-phase range and is rated for high-overload duty, allowing it to supply elevated current during acceleration or transient torque demands. The drive has an IP20 chassis enclosure, so it requires installation in a ventilated electrical cabinet. Internally, the DC link and output stage support the listed power rating, allowing filters and fuses to be sized for the same continuous power range.
For networked control, the electronics include a control card with PROFINET, providing parameter access over real-time Ethernet. Mechanical braking energy is diverted through an integral brake chopper, preventing DC-bus overvoltage when loads decelerate quickly. Long-term reliability in humid or dusty cabinets is improved by a coated printed circuit board that protects conductive traces against condensation and airborne particles. Conducted emissions are limited by the integrated RFI Class A2 filter, making the drive suitable for industrial environments that share power with sensitive instrumentation. The load-sharing mains option allows several FC 360 units to balance input current across a common bus. Adaptation A provides standard cable entries for straightforward gland plate installation and organized routing within the cabinet.
