The 134F2982 is a sophisticated frequency converter manufactured by Danfoss Automation with a user-friendly design and the ability to support the operation of a broad range of industrial applications like extruders, pump fans, and draw benches. This product is an IP20 device that meets international standards and is able to comfortably produce a power output as high as 18.5 kilowatts during its operation. The slick, compact design of this converter allows for a straightforward and easy vertical installation inside a compatible control cabinet. The 134F2982 does not come with a display unit; however, this can be externally acquired and operated with the converter. There is an RFI filter installed inside this converter; the filter reduces interference when it is in operation. There is a removable fan installed inside this product; the operation of this fan helps to prevent overheating inside the housing of the drive.

The 134F2982 is able to automatically adapt itself to a connected motor and optimize its operation. This converter is built to be used in ambient temperature that falls between 45 to about 50 degrees Celsius, derating can be observed at ambient temperatures higher than 55 degrees Celsius. The smart logic control principle of this converter provides a seamless integration of the drive, motor and the application. It works by monitoring a specific event and triggering a specific action when that event occurs. This provides customers with the freedom to tailor the control strategy of the product to specific needs.

The 134F2982 frequency converter ca be configured through the use of the Motion Control Tool (MCT) software which is also produced by Danfoss. This software provides time managers with a full view of the system in real time.
