The 134F2974 variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled AC output that allows plant PLCs to regulate the speed of standard three-phase motors. By adjusting frequency and voltage in real time, the drive supports conveyor lines, pumps, and fan systems where precise speed changes can improve process throughput and energy efficiency.
It uses an IP20 chassis, so the live parts must be installed inside a protected cabinet, but extra gaskets are not required for airflow. The input section accepts a 380–480 VAC three-phase supply, matching common industrial power systems without requiring an autotransformer. Continuous output is limited to 1.5 kW, which corresponds to a mechanical capability of 2.0 HP for small pumps or indexing stations. The drive supports high-overload operation, allowing the inverter to deliver elevated current during acceleration or brief process peaks before thermal limits intervene.
