Product Description:
The 134F2972 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a regulated output that allows automation systems to control induction-motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. The drive can operate conveyors, pumps, and similar equipment that require adjustable motor performance. Machine controllers can use the drive to manage acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state operation according to process demands.
The rated output is 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) under nominal operating conditions. The input section accepts a 380–480 VAC three-phase supply, making the unit suitable for common industrial power systems within that voltage range. The power stage has a high-overload classification, allowing it to accommodate short-term current peaks without immediate derating. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration. Adaptation A provides standard cable entries, while Adaptation B includes no additional adaptation. The drive has no B option or auxiliary mechanical kit. A standard control card provides the customary input and output connections for integration with external automation equipment. The unit is supplied without a display and includes the standard language pack. Its platform designation is Series 360.
The housing has an IP20 chassis rating, which provides finger-safe protection for live parts when the drive is properly installed inside a control panel. An internal filter rated for RFI Class A2 reduces conducted electromagnetic noise that could otherwise return to the mains supply. The circuit boards have a protective PCB coating that provides additional resistance to moisture and airborne contaminants. A load-sharing option allows multiple compatible drives to connect to a common DC bus. This arrangement permits regenerated energy from one drive to be used by another unit on the shared bus when operating conditions allow. Standard cable entries support orderly conductor routing within the enclosure, while the chassis format is intended for protected cabinet installation. The control card handles command and status signals without requiring an optional display for normal machine-controlled operation.
