Product Description:
The 134F2971 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a modulated output that lets controllers adjust induction motor speed in automated equipment such as conveyors, pumps, or compact material-handling stations. Within an installation, it occupies the IP20 chassis section of a panel and communicates through the platform’s standard control interfaces to coordinate motor torque and process throughput.
This model delivers a rated output of 0.55 kW, which corresponds to 0.75 HP when driving a matched motor. It accepts a three-phase input of 380–480 VAC and includes integral surge suppression and phase monitoring on its standard control card. The Adaptation A configuration uses standard cable entries, so line, motor, and control wiring pass through metric gland plates without extra adapters. The enclosure is classified as IP20 / Chassis, limiting access to live parts while remaining open to cabinet airflow. To minimize conducted emissions, the drive includes an RFI Class A2 filter.
Dynamic functions are expanded by an integrated brake chopper that dissipates regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. The control electronics are mounted on a coated PCB for additional protection from moisture and dust. The mains section supports load sharing, allowing several FC 360 units to balance DC-bus energy without external reactors. High-duty applications are supported by the drive’s high-overload rating, which permits brief current peaks above the nominal level. Adaptation B requires no modification, and the B-option slot is unused. The unit is supplied without a display or blind cover, which reduces its depth inside a crowded cabinet. Its configuration includes the standard language pack.
