The 176F3160 is a gate drive card produced by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT Control Cards series. This printed circuit assembly fits inside medium-voltage VLT drive cabinets, where it relays firing signals from the control processor to the insulated-gate devices that shape motor current. Electrical isolation on the board helps separate sensitive control electronics from fast switching events in the power section. By performing this function, the board supports precise speed regulation and energy management in industrial automation systems that use high-power AC motor control.

Rated for installations across a 400 V voltage class, the card can coordinate VLT inverter modules that drive motors from 110 kW to 315 kW. This operating range allows the same card to be used across several compatible frame sizes in the product platform.
