Product Description:
The 137X9554 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it serves as the interface between utility power and induction motors, delivering adjustable speed control for conveyors, mixers, and general automation. This arrangement allows motor speed to follow process demand instead of running only at line frequency. By varying output frequency and voltage, the drive can reduce mechanical shock during starts and improve process consistency at changing loads. The design follows the 302 series identifier and targets cabinet-mounted industrial installations.
It accepts a supply of 380 - 500 VAC across a three-phase power network, converting that energy into a variable output frequency for motor regulation. The enclosure has an IP20 / Chassis rating, so it is touch-safe when installed inside a control cabinet but is not intended for open-machine mounting. Because the unit is intended for cabinet use, the surrounding panel provides the added physical protection needed for industrial service. Local interaction is provided by a graphical local control panel that displays operating status and allows parameter editing. The panel interface also supports direct setup from the front of the unit. For motion applications that need resolver feedback, the factory-installed MCB-103 resolver option ties resolver signals directly to the drive control board. During rapid deceleration, an internal brake chopper directs surplus energy to an external resistor and helps prevent DC-bus overvoltage.
The unit uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, and wiring passes through standard cable entries that match common gland plates. Circuit boards have a protective coating to reduce exposure to moisture and airborne dust, while an internal RFI filter helps limit conducted emissions on the supply side. Language selection uses a standard pack. The base configuration leaves the A, C, C0, C1, and D hardware positions unused, the mains option is not installed, and Adaptation B is not assigned.
