The 137X5216 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase input into a controlled output that matches the speed and torque requirements of induction or permanent-magnet motors used in conveyors, pumps, and compressors. The self-contained converter installs inside a control cabinet and supports either stand-alone or networked operation. This allows one drive platform to handle motor regulation across different machine sections without requiring separate control hardware for basic speed adjustment.
Continuous output of 55 kW delivers the capacity needed for mid-size production equipment and corresponds to approximately 75 HP of mechanical power. The power section accepts mains between 380–500 VAC and is designed for three-phase power, so the drive can operate from common industrial supplies. An internal RFI Filter helps reduce conducted emissions, while the IP20 / Chassis enclosure provides basic touch protection when the unit is mounted inside a cabinet. Printed circuit boards are coated to resist humidity, and standard cable-entry positions help keep power and control wiring organized. The housing format also supports typical cabinet installation for A, B, and C frame layouts.
Parameter adjustment is handled through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which gives local access to operating values, menus, and setup changes. The interface uses the Latest Release available for this product line, and the standard language pack supports routine navigation without requiring separate software at the machine. Closed-loop positioning is enabled by the MCB-103 Resolver Option installed in the B-option slot. The A, C0, C1, and D slots are empty, no software option is loaded in the C position, and there is no adaptation board. Because the drive is supplied without a brake chopper, braking energy must be managed by external hardware when the application requires it.
