Product Description:
The 137N7360 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to an induction motor, allowing precise speed control in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling systems. When integrated into PLC-based networks, the unit supports coordinated machine operation and smoother acceleration and deceleration across automated lines. It is suited to applications that need repeatable motor response, controlled ramping, and integration with plant control signals. This control approach can reduce shock loading on belts, couplings, and gear trains while helping the process maintain stable speed under changing demand.
This model delivers a nominal shaft output of 40 HP, which corresponds to a power rating of 30 kW. The input range of 380 - 500 VAC supports common industrial mains supplies, and the converter is designed for three-phase power to maintain balanced current draw. A built-in brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy during deceleration, which helps control DC-bus voltage when high-inertia loads are slowing down. The enclosure carries an IP54/Type12 N3R rating, which helps protect internal components from dust and low-pressure water exposure in industrial locations. Conformal coating on the printed circuit boards also helps shield conductive paths from oil mist and humidity that can shorten service life.
For electromagnetic compatibility, the converter includes an RFI Filter, which attenuates conducted emissions on the mains side and helps reduce interference with nearby equipment. Feedback capability is expanded through the MCB-103 Resolver Option, while the Graphical Local Control Panel provides direct access to operating data and parameter settings at the drive. The drive can be adjusted locally without external software, and the display makes routine status checks easier during normal operation. The control electronics are coated to resist corrosion from airborne contaminants, and the standard cable-entry plate supports orderly routing with metric gland fittings.
