Product Description:
The 136X6372 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It works as a standalone controller that adjusts motor speed and torque for conveyors, pumps, and coordinated machine axes in automated plants. By varying output frequency and supporting multiple option cards, the unit can handle both general motor control and more precise motion tasks where network communication and feedback are needed. This makes it suitable for installations that combine routine speed regulation with synchronized machine functions under a single drive platform. It also supports flexible integration across automated production lines.
Rated at 15 kW, the drive can deliver up to 20 HP of mechanical output when paired with a compatible induction motor. It accepts an incoming supply of 380 – 500 VAC on a three-phase power network, which supports direct use on common industrial mains without a separate mains option card. The enclosure has a rating of IP54 / Type 12 N3R to help resist dust and splashed fluids during wall-mounted operation. Standard cable entries are already machined, the printed circuit boards have a protective coating for humidity resistance, and the front panel includes a graphical local control panel for parameter entry and multilingual display use.
Field integration is handled by the CANopen MCA 105 A-option, which allows cyclic and acyclic data exchange with a PLC or other supervisory controller. Position feedback is supplied through the MCB-103 resolver option in the B slot, while multi-axis synchronization is supported by the MCO-305 SyncPos module in the C0 position. Conducted emissions are reduced by the built-in RFI filter, helping the drive operate more cleanly on shared electrical systems. No brake chopper is fitted, so braking energy must be handled externally, and no C1 or D options are installed. The listed option set supports communication, feedback processing, and coordinated motion within the drive assembly.
