The 136X2447 drive is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Classified under the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it is an AC variable-frequency controller supplied for integration into factory automation lines. Its role is to modulate the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors so that conveyors, pumps, or mixers run only as fast as the process demands. It is intended for variable-speed process control in industrial equipment where stable motor regulation and adaptable operating profiles are required. The model carries series identifier 302 and is configured for cabinet mounting where space, wiring access, and thermal management are controlled.

Electrically, the unit operates from a mains supply of 380 – 500 VAC drawn from a three-phase power supply. Internally, it delivers a continuous mechanical output of 15 kW, equivalent to 20 HP, allowing mid-size machines to start, accelerate, and brake within their design limits. The chassis carries an IP20 / Chassis protection level, so it must be placed inside a closed panel but requires no additional gasketing. This arrangement suits enclosed cabinets where surrounding hardware provides the required protection and keeps access limited to the control enclosure. Normal cabinet mounting in A, B, and C frames simplifies positioning beside busbars or contactors and helps maintain clear wire routing. A brake chopper is not fitted, so dynamic stopping energy must be handled externally. The mains option, A option, C option, C0, C1, and D option slots are shipped empty to keep the footprint compact.

Control and diagnostics are presented on the Graphical Local Control Panel, which plugs into the front door for parameter entry in the standard language pack. The front-mounted interface allows local monitoring and adjustment without requiring separate external hardware. Electromagnetic compliance is aided by the integrated RFI filter that limits conducted noise on motor and mains leads. To improve corrosion resistance in humid cabinets, the printed circuit boards are coated. Feedback expansion is available through the factory-installed MCB-103 Resolver Option, while Adaptation B remains set to no adaptation. Standard cable entries accept shielded glands for orderly panel wiring.
