The 136L4817 is an AC drive from Danfoss in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It modulates supply frequency to induction motors so production equipment can vary speed while maintaining torque and energy efficiency in automated processes. The unit is intended for cabinet installation in manufacturing cells, packaging lines, and material-handling systems that require dependable electronic speed control. Its mechanical frame supports normal cabinet mounting in A, B, and C layouts, and the standard cable entries simplify wiring. This arrangement makes it suitable for systems that must respond smoothly to changing load demands during routine production.

The drive delivers 10 HP of output, which is equivalent to 7.5 kW. It accepts mains input from 380 - 500 VAC and operates on three-phase power. This input range allows the unit to work with common industrial supply systems used in automated equipment. The enclosure is rated IP20 / Chassis, so the unit should be installed inside an enclosed panel for more complete protection against accidental contact and surrounding contamination. Internally, the printed circuit boards are uncoated, and the language pack and cable set are standard versions.

The factory-installed A-option interface is PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 for cyclic and acyclic fieldbus communication, while feedback is handled by the MCB-103 Resolver Option in the B-option slot. The resolver-based feedback arrangement supports applications that need motor position information for closed-loop control. A dedicated brake chopper supports braking energy dissipation, and local operation is provided through a graphical local control panel for direct parameter access and status review. No adaptation is specified for Adaptation B, and the C0, C1, D, and mains option slots are left empty for later expansion. This leaves additional room for configuration changes without altering the base drive setup.
