The 136G4486 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. Installed between the mains and a three-phase motor, it converts fixed-frequency input into a variable output that lets production equipment accelerate, decelerate, and hold speed precisely. The control algorithm coordinates voltage with frequency, allowing closed-loop or sensorless regulation of induction, permanent-magnet, and synchronous-reluctance machines across conveyors, mixers, and positioning axes. This approach helps the motor follow process demand more closely during speed changes and steady-state operation.

It delivers a continuous mechanical output of 5.0 HP, equivalent to 3.7 kW, when supplied with 200–240 VAC on a three-phase power network. The integrated brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy during controlled stops. An input filter limits conducted emissions, and internal board sealing helps protect the control electronics from conductive dust and moisture. Because no dedicated mains option is fitted, supply cables connect directly to the bus bars, while smooth entry points simplify cable routing. A standard language pack is preloaded, and adaptive switching patterns reduce motor acoustic noise under light loads.

The drive includes the MCB-103 resolver option for shaft feedback, while the A, C, C0, C1, and D slots remain open and adaptation B is set with no additional adaptation. Electromagnetic compliance is supported by the RFI filter, and durability is improved by the coated PCB. Operators program parameters through the graphical local control panel, which gives direct access to operating values and setup menus. With no added mains option installed, standard terminal hardware is used for disconnect and fusing functions rather than separate plug-in modules.
