Product Description:
The 135X5126 variable-frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. In an automation cell, this unit regulates motor speed so mechanical throughput can match process demand while control electronics remain isolated from the three-phase mains. By combining fieldbus connectivity, built-in diagnostics, and cabinet mounting, it serves as a compact interface between the plant power network and conveyors, pumps, or mixers that require precise torque and velocity control. This allows the connected motor to follow changing speed references in processing and material-handling applications without adding separate control hardware at the machine.
It accepts 380 - 500 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing the inverter section to support balanced motor operation. The factory A option is EtherCAT MCA 124, which provides network communication with PLCs for cyclic commands and diagnostics. The B option adds the MCB-103 Resolver Option, permitting resolver-based closed-loop control when position feedback is required. Operator access is through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which provides text, icons, and soft keys for parameter changes and status review. The C option field has no additional software option installed, and the configuration does not include a brake chopper, so braking energy must be dissipated in the motor or external resistors.
The drive has an IP20 / Chassis enclosure rating, so it must be installed inside a control cabinet. Its integrated RFI Filter helps limit conducted emissions when standard cable entry practices are used, and the boards are Coated to protect against airborne contaminants. The mechanical layout matches Normal cabinet mount A, B & C Frames, which supports installation in the standard cabinet arrangements used for those frame sizes. Because this is a chassis version, external enclosure protection must be provided by the cabinet rather than by the drive housing itself. A standard language pack is included, and no dedicated mains option is specified for this configuration.
