The 135X0923 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is intended for cabinet installation in automated machinery. The unit modulates the speed of three-phase induction motors to match process demands, reduce energy use, and provide precise torque control during changing load conditions. It is suited to conveyors, pumps, fans, and other variable-speed duties that benefit from adjustable motor operation.

This drive supplies up to 4.0 HP of mechanical output and supports a continuous electrical rating of 3.0 kW, allowing it to run small to medium production motors without derating. The mains input range of 380-500 VAC accommodates standard industrial feeders, and the power section operates on three-phase power for balanced load sharing. For user interaction, the front door carries a graphical local control panel that shows parameter groups, alarms, and manual run keys. The local interface allows status review and parameter entry directly at the cabinet door. The enclosure has an IP20 / chassis construction, so the unit must be mounted inside a closed control cabinet while remaining touch-safe on the front. It is intended for cabinet mounting in frame sizes A, B, and C, and the boards use conformal coating to resist airborne contaminants. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy must be handled by external components when rapid deceleration is required.

Network integration is provided through the A-Option card PROFINET MCA 120, which enables real-time fieldbus control and diagnostic exchange over Ethernet. Position or speed feedback from a motor-mounted resolver is accepted through the B-Option MCB-103 resolver option, which improves closed-loop accuracy in applications that need feedback-based regulation. A built-in RFI filter attenuates conducted emissions so the drive can share switchgear with sensitive instrumentation without an added line filter. Standard cable entries and a normal language pack are included, and the available network and feedback options support common panel layouts that need Ethernet communication and resolver input.
