The 132H9555 is an AC variable-frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is intended to regulate motor speed and torque in automated material-handling systems, pumping applications, and general machinery. By modulating output frequency and voltage, the drive supports coordinated acceleration, controlled stopping, and energy-efficient operation within distributed control architectures. It is suited for installations where process speed must respond to changing load conditions without mechanical adjustment. This operating method helps maintain stable machine behavior across variable-duty cycles.

In a standard configuration, the drive delivers 4.0 kW of continuous power, equivalent to 5.0 HP at the shaft. It accepts supply lines from 380–500 VAC on three-phase power systems, so the inverter can connect directly to common industrial feeders. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, which makes live parts finger-safe after panel installation. Standard cabinet-mount A, B, and C frames are supported, and standard cable entries simplify conduit routing. The unit has no brake chopper, no dedicated mains option board, and uncoated printed circuit boards, which suits clean electrical rooms. A standard language pack is preloaded for multilingual keypad prompts.

Control and communication features are assigned by option cards. Slot A is populated with an EtherNet/IP MCA 121 interface that provides real-time access from PLC networks. Slot B carries the resolver option, while software slots C, C0, and C1 and hardware slot D are left without installed options. For EMC compliance, an RFI Filter is integrated, and local operation is handled through the Graphical Local Control Panel on the front bezel. The drive also includes Integrated Motion Control, allowing positioning routines to run internally without an external motion card and reducing dependence on separate motion hardware.
