Product Description:
The 131X0847 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. In automated lines, it regulates three-phase induction motors and lets PLCs command speed, torque, and positioning tasks without mechanical gear changes. By combining the series’ integrated application processor with resolver and synchronization options, it supports coordinated motion functions used in conveyor, pump, and positioning stations.
This model delivers 7.5 HP of mechanical output while its continuous electrical capacity is 5.5 kW. It accepts a supply window of 380–500 VAC and draws power through a three-phase power input, letting it share buses with typical factory mains. Conducted emissions comply with EN 55011 Class A2 when the integrated RFI filter is wired correctly. An internal brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy, and the B-slot is fitted with an MCB-103 resolver board for absolute rotor feedback. C0 hosts the MCO-305 SyncPos module that executes electronic cam and position loops, while the remaining A, C1, and D slots are left empty for future expansion. Standard cable entries seal against the chassis, and normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames keeps airflow predictable. A graphical Local Control Panel and factory language pack support local setup, and the drive uses the Latest Release software level.
The drive uses an A3 frame and stands 268.0 mm tall, so it fits shallow enclosures while leaving clearance for heat sinks. Its IP20 / Chassis protection level requires placement inside a filtered cabinet, yet the uncoated PCB remains accessible for service. No mains disconnect, line reactor, or adaptation boards are installed, so the drive uses standard VLT AutomationDrive wiring. A chassis RFI filter is already included, and a brake-safe-stop function is available through the wired brake chopper terminals.
