The 131X0051 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. In industrial automation, it regulates induction motor speed so conveyors, pumps, and mixers can match process demand while reducing wasted energy. It belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and fits standard A-, B-, and C-frame cabinet layouts used in enclosed control systems. Coated printed circuit boards help the unit resist dust and humidity, which supports stable operation in busy plant environments.

The drive delivers up to 25 HP of mechanical output and has a continuous electrical power rating of 18.5 kW. It operates from an input range of 380 to 500 VAC and uses three-phase power for normal operation. The housing is an IP20 chassis enclosure, which provides finger-safe protection suitable for cabinet mounting. That enclosure format keeps the power section compact while still allowing access to standard terminal areas. Standard cable entries support routing for motor, line, and control wiring. The unit does not include a brake chopper, so it is suited to applications that do not rely on internal braking hardware for rapid deceleration.

Positioning functions are supported by the factory-installed MCB-103 Resolver Option together with the MCO-305 (SyncPos) motion-control module. Local operation is handled through a graphical local control panel, which allows jogging, fault reset, and parameter download directly at the drive. An integrated RFI filter helps reduce conducted emissions without requiring an external line choke. The resolver and motion modules expand the drive beyond basic speed control and support synchronized motion tasks where feedback matters. The safe-stop circuit does not include a brake relay, so external safety contactors are required when the application calls for them.
