Product Description:
The 131U5448 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Classified inside the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, the 302 identifier ties it to applications that require speed-controlled three-phase motors. By converting fixed mains power into variable frequency and voltage, the unit automates conveyor, pump, and general process equipment from a cabinet-mounted position in industrial lines.
For electrical performance, the inverter delivers 1.0 HP of mechanical output, which corresponds to 0.75 kW, and it can be connected to mains supplies between 380 – 500 VAC on a three-phase power network. The drive is built in an IP20 / Chassis enclosure that gives basic touch protection while permitting cabinet airflow. Normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames and standard cable entries simplify installation. The option structure is largely unpopulated: the A, C1, D, and mains slots are empty, Adaptation B is not installed, and no brake chopper hardware is provided. Functional add-ons consist of the B-slot MCB-103 resolver card for absolute rotor feedback, while no additional C-software option is loaded. Standard language and the latest firmware release complete the factory configuration.
Operator access is handled by the Numerical Local Control Panel, which offers local parameter entry and fault readout. Closed-loop positioning is added through the MCO-305 SyncPos module in the C0 slot, and conducted emissions are limited by the integrated RFI Filter. A factory-applied coated printed-circuit board finish shields components from moisture and fine dust and aligns with the standard protection level. Because many auxiliary slots remain vacant, users can introduce future functions without altering field wiring or the 302 series designation.
